What is Lead Like This?

Lead Like This is a 12-week online leadership and management training programme designed to develop confident, emotionally intelligent leaders—without the jargon, theory overload or off-the-shelf frameworks that often miss the mark.

Built around six practical, evidence-informed leadership fundamentals, the programme addresses the real challenges leaders face today. From understanding different personalities and neurotypes to navigating conflict and improving how teams work together, participants learn how to lead people—not just manage tasks.

Created and led by Anna Jester, founder of Lead Happy, Lead Like This is an energising and results-driven professional development journey. Designed specifically for digital delivery, it isn’t simply one of the many leadership and management courses moved online.

Anna Jester is the founder of Lead Happy and the creator of Lead Like This. With her own leadership career and over 15 years’ experience in and supporting leaders across sectors—from FTSE 100 firms to scaling start-ups—Anna combines deep expertise with a refreshingly human approach.

She’s a qualified executive coach (ILM Level 7), facilitator and leadership strategist, known for creating learning spaces that are high-impact, high-trust and highly engaging. She’s also the mind behind Lead Happy’s signature frameworks, including the Lead Happy House™ and Jestology™—tools that make leadership practical, memorable and genuinely enjoyable.

Week 6 | Step 3: Who Are They?
Now we understand ourselves in leadership better, it’s time to understand how to unlock performance in the humans around us.

Week 8 | Step 4: The Architecture of a High Performing Team
Using our own unique IP developed over 20 years, we reveal and explore the science behind all brilliant teams.

 

Week 10 | Step 5: The Communication Secret
Brilliant communication looks different for every leader and we unlock the secret that will turbocharge yours.

Week 12 | Step 6: You – Leading with Courage
Navigating the tough stuff is a part of every leader’s journey and this session explores those ‘difficult’ conversations, moments, decisions we face and ensures they define our leadership in the right way.

Finale | Wrap-Up & Reflect
Final session to consolidate learning, share growth, and set your leadership trajectory moving forward.
